Samsung are demonstrating how the new Emergency Services Network (ESN) might connect vehicles to the new nationwide PSLTE system, they are using a vehicle on this occasion supplied by the Metropolitan Police Service. Samsung’s ESN handheld device will be combined with signal boosting technology and installed in one of the Metropolitan Police’s new BMW i3 electric vehicles, which are being deployed in London.
Samsung is the only supplier of handheld devices to the ESN programme.
