Ari has over 20 years of experience from mission critical communications and is currently the owner of the Virve 2 mission critical broadband programme at Suomen Erillisverkot.

Ari has held several roles over the years e.g. providing strategic and technical guidance on various aspects of the mission critical communications landscape including security, functionality, technology roadmap, user requirements and spectrum needs. Over the years Ari has also had an active role in several national and international working groups, including serving as a director and member of the TCCA board and as the chair of the TETRA user requirements working group at ETSI.

Ari holds a Master’s degree on telecommunications.
