Becca has spent her entire career in the public sector, mainly in roles involving science and technology. Becca started her career as a clinical scientist in the NHS, before moving into forensic science for 14 years where she was an operational scientist and manager and then moved into programme management.

In 2013 Becca joined the Home Office and the Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme. Becca was the Director of Deployment and User Insight on ESMCP until January 2022 when she left to take the lead on transforming the UK’s Asylum system in the Customer Services Group. 

 Becca is passionate about encouraging more women into science, technology, and leadership roles and is an active mentor and coach. She has been a regular speaker at BAPCO events and was delighted to take up the role of Trustee in 2022.
