Faisal has been working on the Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme since May 2024 as Managing Director for the Emergency Services Network on behalf of BT/EE. He leads the team that drives mission critical readiness across the organisation, building the network, coverage and in-building services and products, that provide trusted and reliable connectivity for ESN users.

Prior to taking the leadership role for ESN, Faisal led the UK Portfolio Business for BT, a suite of stand-alone, brand critical business units from media and broadcast to voice services, executing on numerous transformations and strategic initiatives to enable the long-term success of the business units.

Faisal has a breadth of experience both in the UK and internationally, with experience spanning strategy, commercial, transformation programmes and major infrastructure projects. He is also a trustee of the 5% Club.
