Role at Trilateral

Gavin joined the Trilateral team as the Client Relationship Lead for CESIUM, our ethical AI solution that helps safeguarding agencies protect children from exploitation.

Background

Gavin served for over 30 years in the police, finishing his career at the rank of Detective Superintendent.

During his career Gavin worked in a number of areas of policing, including  covert, digital, cyber, online child protection and intelligence.

During his management of the Digital Media Investigation Unit in Cheshire Constabulary, Gavin was responsible for introducing new investigative techniques that reduced digital backlogs from over three years to near live time investigations, this included the addition of new equipment from the governments Rape Review Response Programme (RRRP) which he then helped to role out nationally.

Having worked at both a regional and national level in different areas of policing, Gavin hopes to use his experience to further make a difference in safeguarding standards for children.
