James Thomas holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Brunel University (2012) and has held various engineering roles with technical and commercial responsibilities on projects worth up to $1.2 billion. His experience spans major companies such as Ford, Williams F1, Lockheed Martin, Ultra Electronics, and TP Group PLC.
 

In addition to his career roles, James founded and has led JET Engineering Services, a profitable engineering consultancy for the past seven years, serving multiple industries, including maritime. He also founded JET Engineering System Solutions (trading as JET Connectivity), aiming to lead in 5G-connected technologies for environmental, security, and safety benefits in the both the maritime and remote-comms sectors. Under his leadership, JET has secured multiple 5G marine and rural deployment contracts, capitalizing on James' extensive network and industry expertise.
