Keith Donnelly OBE
Keith is currently seconded to the Home Office heading up the Fire Service Operational Communications team. He brings over 35 years of fire service experience. Working in both Cleveland and North Yorkshire Fire Service’s before moving to government in 2008.
Joining the FireLink programme in in 2008 as National Training Manager, he was part of the team that rolled Airwave out into the Fire and Rescue Services. Once the programme was complete, he remained with government as part of the Airwave in life team to manage day to day management of the Airwave radios on behalf of the English and Welsh Fire and Rescue Services. In 2016 he moved to the Home Office when responsibility for Fire moved from the then DCLG to the Home Office.
He is now responsible for managing a small team of Fire Officers who are seconded to the Home Office who deal with a number of work steams including Airwave, ESN, 999 and MAIT. In his spare time he enjoys walking, going to the Gym and spending time with his family and friends.
