Marc Williams is a distinguished technologist with 25 years of experience in the policing sector, known for his expertise across Architecture, Infrastructure, Applications, Cloud, AI and Data. Since 2015, he has been operating at a senior leadership level, driving technology transformation and championing user experience within the West Midlands Police.
As the Head of Architecture at West Midlands Police, Marc has led numerous strategic initiatives, including the establishment of a new Architecture and User Experience function and the successful transformation of ICT services into a modern technology partner. His efforts in authoring the "Synergy" technology strategy have received national praise for its innovative approach to user experience.
Marc's technical acumen is complemented by his ability to engage with business leaders, aligning technology with business outcomes. He has been instrumental in implementing a multi-cloud hybrid hosting model and introducing AI-driven solutions to enhance policing capabilities.
