After studying engineering at Bristol University, William launched his first venture at the age of 21, specialising in the supply of fixed-wing aircraft parts. In 2008, he founded Airbox, initially creating navigation solutions for private pilots. Dorset Air Ambulance soon adopted the system for medical response helicopters, marking the company’s expansion into the emergency services sector by 2011---a pivotal shift that defined Airbox’s future.
